Species Crocus Aqua

Welcome the springtime early with this charming new crocus that pops up into the landscape as early as February. Aqua enchants passersby with blue-violet blooms in a color that is quite different from typical crocus. It is a heavy bloomer and exceptional naturalizer, and it attracts early pollinators to the area. Low growing at only 4-6" tall, it is versatile enough to add color and style to front borders, containers, rock gardens, between deciduous trees and shrubs. Also makes a wonderful flowering ground cover.
