Unlike other lilacs, Beach Party lilacs have a low chill factor, requiring fewer hours of cold to flower the following season. Not only can Rosie take the heat, she also offers superior mildew resistance and cold hardiness, so there's almost nowhere this gorgeous shrub can't grow. Delightfully fragrant panicles will burst with bright pink florets in mid to late spring. Lilacs are tolerant of many soil types, and prefer well-drained soil to thrive.
