Lupines Mixed Colors

Designing a colorful, dynamic floral display within a small space can be challenging for some gardeners. The trick is to aim high. Upright racemes are covered in blooms of white, blue, pink, yellow or red in late spring to early summer. Plant in masses for a highly memorable display in full sun borders, mixed cutting beds or butterfly gardens. Lupinus polyphyllus perennializes beautifully, dependably reappearing year after year in greater numbers. Once established, they are drought-tolerant and very prolific bloomers.
