Allium Round 'n Purple
Huge, 10" silvery lilac flower heads will turn heads when they burst into bloom in mid to late spring. Growing atop sturdy, 36" stems, the flowers look impressive in the garden and in cut-flower arrangements. When planted with daffodils, Allium Round 'n Purple will draw the eye away from fading bulb foliage. It also provides a wonderful transition between spring-blooming bulbs and summer-blooming perennials. Like other alliums, Round 'n Purple Allium attracts pollinators, including bees and butterflies, to the garden. Allium bulbs are easy to grow in well-drained soil, will tolerate poor garden soil and naturalize well. Deer tend to avoid.
